1974 - National Bank of Poland opens the Voivodeship Data Centre of the National Bank of Poland in Bydgoszcz that was transformed into a limited liability company under the trade name Bazy i Systemy Bankowe. These are the beginnings of services related to the data processing for the NBP.

1993 - beginning of cooperation with the National Clearing House in order to standardize the inter-bank settlements system in Poland. SYBIR system is developed to support interbank settlements. Thereafter, it will be replaced by ELIXIR solution that BSB will be responsible for its development and maintenance. Similarly as in the case of ELIXIR-OK branch application used in the banks branches to contact with the ELIXIR central settlement system.

1994 - transformation of the Voivodeship Data Centre of the National Bank of Poland into a limited liability company under the trade name Bazy i Systemy Bankowe. The owner of 100% shares is the National Bank of Poland.

2002 - BSB gains Quality System certificate compliant with the PN-EN ISO 9001:2001 norm and criteria in relation to the delivery of IT solutions.

2005 - BSB opens Sales and Marketing department in Warsaw.

2007 - BSB develops intensively investing in new partnerships and broadening the products and services offer.

2008 - BSB gains Integrated Security System Management certificate compliant with the PN-ISO/IEC 27001:2007 norm related to information security.
